Aluminium Jumprings

Aluminum jumprings are lightweight, strong and easy to open and close. The colour is created with an eight-step anodizing and dyeing process. This process creates long-lasting colour that is resistant to tarnishing. Jumprings may have an iridescent finish caused by the fabrication process and base metal.  Due to manufacturing, colour intensity and size may vary slightly.   Jumprings in this section are not tempered (hardened) so are soft and easy to open and close.  If you are using jumprings for chain maille then you are best with the Tempered Aluminium Jumprings.  When using Aluminium Jumprings it is important to avoid scratching the surface which will remove the coating so make sure you use Nylon Jaw Pliers or alternatively Tool Magic which is a coating for your pliers that makes them softer.
