Soutache cord, also known as Russian Braid is used by jewellery makers to work beads and cord together to form a flowing/eye-catching piece that incorporates bead and herringbone cord, in a multitude of design possibilities and colours. It was originally developed by the upholstery & fashion industries for adding trim to designs. Soutache cord is available in Rayon which has s shiny finish and Polyester which has a more matte finish.
