Fine Nylon Beading Threads

We stock a number of brands of nylon beading threads perfect for a whole range of beading projects:

• Miyuki Nylon Thread is a pre-waxed beading thread perfect for delicate projects and small-hole beads like seed beads.  This fine yet strong beading thread is perfect for techniques that require multiple passes through beads. It is a tangle and fray-resistant thread, simple to work with and easily threads onto a needle. Available in 18 unique colors in 330 DTEX (0.25mm) and is sold in 50m spools.
• Nozue Sonoko 78D TEX thread is sold on 100 meters spools. 100% Nylon.  It is a little more elastic than KO Thread. The surface of the thread is a little rough, which makes it way easier to provide a good thread tension.
• KO Thread is a pre-waxed, colourfast, abrasion/tangle resistant thread, which can be knotted tightly. Similar in size to a Nymo size B, K.O can be used with a size 10 or size 12 beading needle. Comes in spools of 50m.
• Nymo beading thread is a very strong made up of thin long ribbons of nylon fibres.  The threads fray easily, so you always wax your thread, even if the product says "pre-waxed'.
• We carry Nymo in 2 sizes - B & D.  B measures .008mm is slightly thinner than D which measures .012mm and both are good for bead threading or weaving.
• C-Lon® Size D (similar to Nymo D) & Size AA (Similar to Nymo B) Use for on and off-loom bead weaving with size 10-11 seed beads or Delicas, mini micro-macrame, bead stitching and embroidery, etc. Its breaking strength is approximately 7 lbs. 80yd per spool (73m)
