This finely detailed Peace Charm is a high quality cast lead-free Pewter metal charm by Tierracast (USA) with Rhodium anti-tarnish silver finish - Double sided design. Made in USA. Measures approx. 15mm diameter not including loop.
What we have come to know, as the peace sign did not start out as the symbol of peace and the anti war sign that it has become. The original two finger salute was a symbol of victory and was used to declare a victory over an enemy. During the 1960’s and 1970’s it took on a whole new meaning as the peace sign was used to symbolize a very different kind of victory - a victory for truth and peace.
