1mm woven waxed cotton cord is waxed in paraffin so it will not fray. This is a very popular pendant cording and can also be used for mobile phone cord clips. It looks like leather, but it's stronger and colourfast. Made in the U.S.A. - best quality!
Waxed cotton feels stiff and sometimes a little sticky when it is new due to the wax on the surface but quickly softens up once worn - batches do vary in how much wax is applied. If cord is particularly waxy the problem can be fixed by despooling a length of cord, and placing it on a tray in a warm oven for a short time which causes the excess wax to absorb into the cord (information given by a customer).
Note - 10 metres is a continuous length wherever possible – we cut cord off a larger spool. No returns are possible on cut lengths of cord.
