Made of Type 316L Stainless Steel, this specially tempered wire has a different “feel” than other half-hard materials such as Gold-filled or Sterling Silver, however it is a great alternative and is stronger. This material is perfect for teaching classes and practice. Ideal for all types of wire-wrapping, weight-bearing designs, and holding designs together. Stainless Steel is harder and will work harden faster than other wires, and resembles the finish of vintage platinum.
