Antique Gold Plated Brass Crimp Covers - 5mm round.
Cover crimp beads or knots with antiqued gold-plated brass crimp covers for a professional-looking finish. Match Antique Brass or Vintage jewellery style. Use these to cover up unsightly crimps. Secure your crimp using a little more slack than normal to accommodate the crimp cover.
We recommend using Bead Crimping Pliers to gently squeeze the cover*. Place the Crimp Cover in the rounding part of the pliers, gently slide the Crimp Cover over the crimp and gently squeeze the pliers to close the Crimp Cover. Watch out to make sure it closes uniformly. It may be necessary to slightly close the seam to prevent the cover from sliding off the crimp. When you're done it looks like a 4mm bead.
*by gently using a Crimping Tool you'll prevent the finish from flaking off.
