Beadsmith Thread Zap Ultra - Battery Operated

Like its predecessors, the new and improved Ultra Thread Zap will trim, burn, or melt thread with one touch. It heats instantly with the push of a button! The extra-fine tip allows for precision application, making it ideal for finishing beadweaving & stringing projects. What makes the Ultra Thread Zap special are a retractable tip for added safety, a more ergonomic & compact design for greater comfort, and it includes an extra tip which stores in the battery compartment! Battery-operated (two AAA, not included).

Special Note:  We have been told that some batteries do not work, such as Energizer and Eveready Batteries. The best ones to use are Varta Batteries The issue is with the shape of the contacts on the battery not connecting with the contacts in the Zapper. Please try a different brand of Battery
Also another note is that the batteries have to face opposite directions and this is not explained at all with any instructions. If you look inside the Zapper it looks as if the contacts for the batteries are one direction only. So with changing direction of one of the batteries the Zapper it works.
