This seashell mold is filled with 17 different sizes of shells ranging from tiny 5mm to the largest which is 60mm. All have a conical shape. Some are created with the 'opening' showing. This open area allows for beautiful pearly finish contrasting the outer shell. All of the shells were natural shells but had to have clay added to make them able to be molded.
Beautiful finishes can be achieved with mica and pearl clay, mica powders, translucent clay and other colorings. The finish can be high gloss, medium gloss and even matte finish for realism. Suitable for polymer clay or metal clay. Clay can be baked in this mold at temperatures up to 150 deg Fahrenheit.
