Ornamental sterling silver head pins with a ball tip embellishment give the look of a decorative bead at the end, adding an elegant flair to the ends of dangles and drops. Shining sterling silver brings a cool elegance to designs and will patina over time for an antiqued look. The higher the gauge number, the thinner the wire of the head pin. Due to the manufacturing process, head pins will often arrive bent. However, they are soft metal, so they are easily reshaped.
