SOFT STRIKE ALKEME (tm) Metal Blanks from ImpressArt USA. This is a brand new, tin-based proprietary metal exclusive to ImpressArt that has some great properties crafters are going to love! They are softer than nickel silver but firmer than aluminium. 18 gauge thickness.
Some blanks have scratches and need polishing to give a bright shiny finish - can be finished with jewellers rouge and a flexible shaft tool. If you don't have this equipment then the best way if your blank is scratched is to first use needle files to remove any burs or rough edges on the blank, then polish with 3M polishing paper starting at the coarsest grit and going down to the finest grit, then finish with Pro Polish Pads to give a shine and a final polish.
