Quality precious metal plated lead-free pewter Toggle Clasp design from TierraCast USA - Antiqued Copper plating over nickel & lead-free Brittania pewter.
This charm is from the TierraCast Caravan series, a mesmerizing journey through the Middle East. The motfs, shapes, patterns & colour palette of this collection are drawn from the beauty of the region. The rounded shapes are inspired by classic Moorish architecture, doorways with elegantly curved arches providing an oasis in the desert. The patterns are derived from the intricate designs found in mehndi henna artwork, typically for wedding celebrations. The warm colour palette is meant to evoke a feeling for the natural elements; windblown peach sand dunes, lavender skies, and clear grey-blue water, the source of life and symbolic purification.
