Fimo Professional

There are 24 base colours in the Fimo Professional range which we have to import direct from overseas due to problems sourcing it in Australia hence it's higher price.

As it is based on true colours, Fimo Professional is perfect for colour mixing. High pigmentation means accurate colour mixing every time and with a high saturation of colour it does not dull with baking.

Fimo Professional offers the Polymer Artist a firm workable polymer clay that does not get sticky and has minimal smell.  Fimo Professional does require more conditioning than some of the other clay brands due to it’s firm texture – it is a good idea to warm it by putting it against your skin or some kind of other warmth (don’t cook it though!) as this will help make the conditioning process easier.  To condition, cut block into small pieces and condition each piece one at a time for best results.

It can be used in thin layers without tearing, its sharp clean lines makes it ideal for caning and for the sculptor who requires a strong workable polymer clay that gives great results every time.

The new packaging on Fimo Professional is pretty niffty. Now it can be stored in its own package as the resealable bag is easy to open and reseal which means you no longer have to be concerned with cross contamination of colours or drying out.
