Products needed to make the Sari Silk Charm Tassel Necklace

2 x  Metres of Blue Lavender (or other colour) recycled Sari Silk (SS-BLA)
15cm x 26ga Beadsmith pro-quality non tarnish silver wire (CW26R-BRS)
15cm x 18ga Beadsmith pro-quality non tarnish silver wire (CW18R-BRS4)
5 x  5mm 20ga silver round open jump rings (JJR-5NP)
30cm x Silver plated brass flattened cable chain (CH-29-3)
1 x  12.5 x 9mm Nunn design faceted barrel bead – Ant silver (MBFB-SB)
1 x  14 x 19mm Nunn design leaf bead cap silver (BC14GL-SB)
1 x  2.4mm diam 30in stainless steel ball chain necklace (TC-1430)
1 x  28mm wing drop charm silver (TC-2341)
2 x  9mm Nunn design 16ga textured jump ring (JR9TC-SB)
1 x 1. 8mm Heishi disk bead silver (TC-0444)
2 x  6mm TierraCast Bali style daisy spacer silver (TC-0407)
2 x  20mm TierraCast silver dragonfly charm (TC-2119)
5 x 40mm 21ga silver plated headpins (FI-1712)
5 x  5mm silver plated round bead (BM501SP)
5 x  6mm beads of your choice

Tools needed to complete the necklace
Flush Wire cutters
Round Nose pliers
Flat Nose pliers

Instructions:

Step 1
Cut your sari silk into 6 x 30cm length pieces, try not to stretch the sari silk when measuring. Then cut a 15cm length of 26ga silver wire. Now find the middle of your sari silk pieces, and using your wire twist it around the silk to hold all the pieces together. Trim off any excess wire.

Step 2
Take your 30cm of silver cable chain and cut it into following three lengths – 14cm, 10cm and 6cm. With the 5 beads you have chosen and the 5 silver headpins thread each bead onto each separate headpin and make a wrapped loop at the top of each bead.

Step 3
Using your 5mm silver jump rings attach the wing drop charm to the bottom of the 10cm length chain you have already cut. Using a jump ring attach the dragonfly charm to the end of the 6cm chain. And finally connect the 5 wire looped beads with jump-rings to the 14cm chain as shown in the picture. 

Step 4
Cut a 15cm length of 18ga silver wire. Wrap one end around the centre of your sari silk and twist the wire securely. You should now have a tail of wire to use to thread your bead cap on and beads.

Step 5
Slide your bead cap over the top of the wire and sari silk, then add your silver beads and spacers as shown in the picture. 

Step 6
Make a simple loop at the top of the bead using your flat nose and round nose pliers. Add the 9mm jump ring to complete. With the other 9mm jump ring thread on your three pieces of bejewelled chain. 
Thread both jump-rings over your ball chain and your necklace is now completed. 

You have now made yourself a Sari Silk Charm Tassel Necklace.

Variation:  Instead of Sari Silk you can use a regular silk tassel (our 77mm silk tassels work well)
