1mm woven waxed natural cotton cord is waxed in paraffin so it will not fray. This is a very popular pendant cording. It looks like leather, but it's stronger and colourfast. We recommend using our 1mm cord ends with this product. Waxed cotton feels a little stiff when it is new due to the wax on the surface but quickly softens & returns to round shape once worn. Made in the U.S.A. - best quality!
