6mm 14kt Gold Filled Italian Spring Ring Clasp
This 14kt 1/20 gold-filled spring ring clasp features an open ring, making it quick and easy to incorporate into your design. After attaching to your design, simply solder it closed to secure your design to the clasp. A classic clasp, the spring ring is ideal for all but the heaviest of necklaces. A spring ring is simply a hollow ring with an opening in one side that is closed off by a sliding 'door' inside the hollow ring. The door is held in place by a tiny spring controlled by a tiny nib on the outside of the ring. Press the nib back to compress the spring and open the clasp; release it to close the clasp. Gold-filled clasps deliver karat gold at a more affordable cost than solid gold, allowing you to design with the touch of precious metal customers look for and to offer your designs at a price customers appreciate.
